Acekard 2i update query

Just received a few of these cards from the normal place I buy them and it wouldnt let me do the Alex Rider Update.I tried to do the update on my dsi xl v1.4 the same console Ive used to do the rest of the acekards Ive done.Finally borrowed a dsl and did the update fine and all cards are working on DSI XL ?? Has anyone had this problem ?? I know its sorted but its more out of curiosity ??

P.S Done the usual tried different versions of AKAIO
formatted card etc

hi m8.
i've seen a few posts on diffrent forums regarding this problem.

i think there is a batch of acecards that have not been updated to 1.4.
that is why they cant be updated on the 1.4 consoles.

where did you get them from.. hong kong?

Yeah mate same place Ive always got them.They must be getting a bit sloppy.PriceAngels worth a look ??

if you have the card from priceangels ,,.... NO you get card with last update !!
