R4i Gold problem

Hi all, about 6 months ago I purchased a R4i Gold card for my ds xl, I have now upgraded to a Acekard but want to use the old Gold card on my other basic ds. now here's where my problems start, I just can't get it to work, the software loads but when I put games on it I either get an error message or the screen breaks up.
can anyone give me some help, the card says R4i v1.4 revolution for ds, and www.r4i-gold.com
I've been to the website but all the latest software just doesn't work

what is the error message....

what i would advise you to do is go onto this site.

there is 3 or 4 diffrent version r4i gold cards.

reformat your sd card and try the latest firmware for each card....
one of them should work....
