minor problem

Hi, I have an acecard and I am very happy with that. It works very well with all games apart one, BOLT, I arrive at the end of the first mission and start to load the second one and it freezes. The only option is switching off the dsi.
I am running at the moment akaio 1.8.1.
I am just wondering if I am doing something wrong or do I have to use cheats, or upgrade the akaio to a newer version. Like I said other games are fine (or better they don t give problems so far).

hi m8,
update your fimrware to the latest akaio 1.8.5b firmware.

if that dont work, enable " anti piracy bypass" option in the start menu....

Thank you for the quick reply but I am a bit lost now....I have downloaded what was on the link ( a folder named "_aio" and a file "akmenu4.nds" ) but when I replace them nothing happen, I am still with akaio 1.8.1.
Could you please point me in the right direction?

soory m8, my mistake,
you need to instal 1.8.5 then 1.8.5a.

Very sorry to be a pain...but I can t find any file with extension ".dat".....Like i said there is only a folder ( "_aio") and a nds file ("akmenu4.nds").....

Hi thanks a lot mate very appreciate your time!
I can now play the game without it freezing....the only thing I don tknow if is this due to upgrade or by switching antypiracy on?
Anyway I do a last question:
At the moment the upper screen says : akAIO release 1.8.5
Am I ok or should be 1.8.5a?
It is only because when downloaded file there are two there and first I have uploaded to sd card the 1.8.5 and press a few time copy and replace and straight away done the second file 1.8.5.a on the same way.
So just wondering should it say 1.8.5.a because at the moment it doesn t and kind of worring that I am half way trought the process.

switch the anti piracy off and test it.
you will soon know...

its best to keep your card up to date anyway.....

yes mine still says 1.8.5 as well.

i have check the file from a few diffrent sources and they are all the same.

it must just stay like that.....

Thank you for all your help! Now that my daughter took over the dsi she told me the game that used not to work is working but another one stop working.....Do I need to try to disable/able antypiracy?What do you think? I found most peculiar that a game that before play ok now doesn t but a game that didn twork now works....strange.
Any ideas?

i've came acro this problem too m8.

the game that has stopped working, try downloading a rom from a diffrent source.
