Hi, I am very new to this and am trying to set up the R4 Card, which is difficult for me!! I will read the nubie guide and hopefully enlightenment will come. I guess somehow I have to get games onto the card, which will be the next challenge... so I guess this will involve purchasing a cable to link ds to computer? or maybe wireless does it??? I'll be back.. x

On the other hand i got a R4 sdhc revolution for ds (ndsl/nds) have tried r4 v1.30b and r4v1.29b and neither work. Any info greatly appreciated. sonic colors wont work on my 1.18 software

i will try my best to help you, but need more info.....
1. r4i gold card.
a. what does it say on the box/card?(details are important, post a screen picture of it if possible)
b. where did you buy it? if bought online can u post a link to the exact card you bought?
c. has it ever worked? if so, which fimrware worked?
d. are u using a dslite or dsi? and if dsi which vesiron? 1.4 or 1.4.1
2. r4 card.

d. these cards can only be used on dslite, won't work on dsi
e. what size sd card are you using. (a 2gig card is best for testing purposes on r4cards)
f. how old is your card. (this is important with some versions r4 cards)
for both cards.
can you get any games to work?
have you formated sd card with a proper formating tool?
