R4 firmware noob

Hi all,
I have just found this site and wanted to ask if anyone could help me find out about my daughters R4 card. I don't know what firmware is on it or how to change it to the latest firmware (what to do hysically to the software on the sd card e.t.c.) and I was hoping one of you could help me.

I noticed the wood 1.19 and was wondering if thats the one?

Thanks for the swift reply.

The card is a R4 revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS)http://www.r4card.org/r4-card.html
The SD card is a 2GB.
The console is a DS lite.

The problem I've been finding is more and more games just aren't loading. The screen will just go white and then nothing happens, so I thought it might need updating and here I am.

that might be an original r4 card.

backup your sd card, then delete your old firmware and put the latest woods firmweare on it.

just download and extract the two files to root your sd card.

Have tried wood before, it just wont boot. I also found an old supercard one will play some of the things the r4 wont.

If you have just joined you have to wait for server to update,have a look round the forums see if yyou can help anyone out then try in about 15 mins

POkemon Black And White!

I have the same problem with the pokemon white and black!
and same R4 card! Will updating the firmware work?

Umm I have a original R4 card (super old), 2 gig memory card.

So I tried to play pokemon black and white, i try to load the game and its just stuck in a white screen. Should I be using a wood firmware for updating? or some other firmware?

Since mine is the original? Should I be using Woods firmware or R4SDHC?

the link youve posted doesnt work, ive wiped my friends sdhc 4 gb card with the same r4 card as the other bloke and still white screen, any ideas gurus?
