wont load recent games

i recently bought a r4 card and ive put menu and games on card old ish games work no probs but when i try to play new games ie tangled r puzzler 2011 all i get is a black screen.ive got the most recent firmware that i can find but still same problem.
can anyone help

What firmware have you got on card? What does it say on card and is there a web address?

ive got version v1.18 kernel,and it dosent say anything it just has a black screen but its only new games it does it on old games are fine

Back up your card then format and put woods firmware 1.23 on and you'll be good to go mate you have an original r4 card .....you lucky boy
