R4 amater.....help

Morning!

I have managed to set up my nephews R4 upgrade (told how by one of my staff at work) alll games work no probs, so went to buy one for my son the only one avail in the shop was R4i-sdhc upgrade was assured would do same job and after dropping the games on it, it does-ish. It wont run some of the games that the old one does and they are exactly the same files??! The game that is most irritating me is sonic all star racing. I have litterally moved the files and dropped, even re-added to check files were corrupt to old card....

Any ideas?? Been back to shop and been out right refused refund.

All cards are totally different and use different firmwares! You need to post exactly what it says on front of card?,What firmware have you put on?

the card has 'WiFi - R4i v1.4.1 upgrade revolution for ds' on the front, i used the software from the website and it didnt work 17th jan, so the lad in shop sorted it me - but i have now looked on the website for the software and it say been updated 27/01/2011 so gonna try that now - thanks

After trying the download from website card doesnt even work now - get loaded the a red memory car with MENU? under it... software i used is top one on website http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp

are you putting the files onto your card correctly?

back up and format your sd card.

download the top 1.32b file.

extract the file and you will get a folder.

open your folder, you should havce roughly 6/10 files/folders in it.

copy all the individual files/folders to root of your sd card and add a few games.

it should work m8.

if it dont work, then post a screen shot of the contents of your sd card.
