TTDS Errcode=-4 HELP please

Hi,

I am just as it says in my name.... Please help. I have been doing games for my kids for ages and then I lost romulation and have struggled ever since.. It seems every game I try comes up with the errcode=-4 Rom loading failed.
they NDS light and I am using, TTDS card... I am not sure on how to tell if I have the right other stuff.. I have a folder for games ( the old ones I downloaded all work..) SMG.Sav thing(no idea what thats for !) a TTMenu folder, a TTMenu video movie and a TTMenu system file thing 4096kb

I would appreciate any help, but not too technical.

hi,
the reason your are getting error codes is because the dstt card is not supported anymore...

the last official update for it was almost a year ago.

this means most games released since then wont work.

there is a work around called "ysmenu"

to be honest it doesnt look the easist of things to do.

if you google "dstt ys menu" you will find some tuturials.

i dont have a dstt card myself and havn't tried it, but apperently it works quite well.

you should have a go at the tt card first,
if your planning to buy a new card anyway then no harm done.....

personally, i like the acecard.

i find it the easiest of the cards to use and is very well supported...

The acecard does sound good but seems quite expensive compared to ttds..

I am just trying to work through the ysmenu thing...

proberly not,
but there is another unofficial firmware which can be used with dstt cards which willl play the very latest games.

its called retrogamefan multi update version 6.69

apparently even the new kirby game works on it...

you'll have to google it though..
