Acekard 2i 1.8.5a Download Play

Download play doesn't seem to work with the Acekard 2i 1.8.5a - so multiplayer only works if the other DS has the actual game otherwise there is a 'connection error' when trying download play.

Is this normal? It goes to connect OK and the Nintendo logo appears on the other DS' screen but then both DS' get the error screen!?

Also for some reason the acekard logo in the DS menu isn't the Acekard logo as I've seen elsewhere, it has 2 blue bars, one at the top and one at the bottom with a red and silver 'S' inbetween - and its not even called Acekard - it says its 'Alex Rider Stormbreaker THQ' !?!?

There must be something wrong with that?

Acekards are supposed to support download play right? Or do both DS' need acekards to work??

Sometimes you both need to have the game/cartridge/(acekard)etc your playing,sometimes not depends on game,u can also need the same version of game :USA(u),Europe (e)

ok well i've been getting the EU games so I don't think thats an issue but it seems that ALL games aren't working?

so if we both had acekards it would definately work?
is there a way around this at all or maybe if i downgrade the ackard akaio firmware??

can u check one thing.
go into menu.
system settings .
then check if anti piracy bypass is enabled.
you need this to be unchcked to use multi player...

yeh it is enabled.

basically games that work through download play (one game/cart) are Big Bang Mini & Tetris DS.

Games that don't work are Mario Party, Bomberman, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.

...theyre the games that ive tried anyway!

it is suppsosed to be disabled for download play...
disable it and try...
