Ok, I've been trying this for days now and I really don't have the time to waste on getting this R4 to work for my sister because I am busy with Uni etc. I need someone to help me or just give me just everything they have on their micro sd card because I feel that's the only way I can get mine to work. My R4 is sdhc which I bought last month, arrived earlier this week.
It's this one http://www.r4rts.cn/pic/001_big.jpg and I have no idea if it's fake or whatnot so if anyone can tell me what it is that'd be great. My micro SD is a 32gb sdhc. I need the files to put inside that but I've tried at least 10 different ones now and I always get the loaderxxx error. Please help me asap. Thx. Lewis.

What website is on your box?,also have you tried a smaller mem card?

Ok, I've went to the website and got the latest firmware, the R4 started up but no games are working for me atm. I just tried Super Mario 64 and nothing shows up, just a black screen. Why?

Are you getting the r4 screen up as if it's working?is your list of games there?or not,also tell me website on your box

The website is R4i SDHC / R4 SDHC - Home. Yes, the R4 loads up and there is a calendar on the top screen whereas on the bottom screen it says R4I Revolution For DS/DSi and there are 3 options below that: Game, Multimedia and Boot Slot-2. Under those options it says V2.7d on the left and the date and time on the right. I can see all the files that are inside the micro sd and the Mario game but when I click it, I get a black screen and nothing happens.

Try here R4i SDHC / R4 SDHC - Home and use the 2.8a kernel...be sure to backup your games/save etc first. Format card put fw on try a game

Is it normal for the download to be taking over an hour? My internet is very quick but this is downloading at 10kb/s. Why is that?

Shouldn't take that long close page or refresh and download again....should only take seconds

Well it's at 89% now and I don't want to take the risk of having to redownload it.

Tried that, same error. Can someone just upload everything they have on a their working R4 (if it's the same as mine) on a file sharing website or even as a torrent. That would be of great help.

1.which site and which firmware did you download?
can you provide links please?

2. there are lots of variations of these cards , somebody with a similar lookin card firmware might be diffrent to yours..

3. 32gig is a really big sd card.
did you format it to fat32 using a formatting tool before use?
do you have a smaller card for testing?

1. I downloaded it from the website I provided a link to earlier: R4i SDHC / R4 SDHC - Home. I can't remember the firmware I downloaded for it but it worked the first time but no games worked and then when I downloaded the one mickydibble told me to get it gave the familiar loaderxxx error again.

2. I'll try anything that anyone has on their card, just upload it to a file sharing website.

3. Which formatting tool? I don't want to mess up my 32gb using untrusty software, I just format it on My Computer. I have a 2gb but I use that on my normal R4 card, this R4 takes up to 32gb but I can't get it to work.

1. go back to that site and download firmware until you find the one that worked.

2. have a look here m8.
have a look through the r4 section and you will see how many cards there is , all with diffrent loaders.

3. there is a formatting tool in downloads. i have problem sd cards before where using a formatter has sorted things out.

you could backup your 2gig card and use it for testing
