Monster Hunter 3 lockup. Can it be fixed?

I'm using Wiiflow on a 4.3 system and get a constand screech and black screen right after the intro finishes. I've seen posts on how to fix it on other system versions and have tried similar things but it's not working. Any suggestions?

Ok so I've been told that I can install cIOSX rev19 that should fix the problem. I downloaded it and tried to install it through Homebrew but the installer doesn't show up at all. REALLY need help...

Yes I did. Just now actually. As with every other time I've tried to get one of these to work, when I put it in the "apps" folder on my SD card and then load Homebrew it doesn't show up so I can't install it on the Wii.

I know I've got to be doing something wrong. I'm about to the point where I just want to un-mod the Wii and start over.

While we're on the subject though, IS there a way to un-mod a Wii?

add another post to this, detailing everything you can about your wii and hold out for a while. He will sort you.

I had that squeeling on mine too, but only when I tried to load that game on backup disc, but was fine on hdd, it's like ya stepped on a cats tail or something

if apps are not showing up in your homebrew channel then you might have a folder inside another folder, make sure when you open a folder in the apps folder it opens too the boot.dol and not too another folder or the homebrew wont detect it.
have you tried installing 223 with 37 merged with 38?
what loader are you using as neogamma wont allow you to boot 223.

Ended up uninstalling homebrew and reinstalling it. Don't know why that worked but it did. I was able to find the cIOS installer and get it working. Installed 223 with 37 and 38 merged and so far i haven't had any trouble. Haven't tried the online play yet but that isn't very important to me.

I was surprised how much information was out there on how to fix this and yet NONE of it worked for me until Red turned me on to the guide in his post. Even though the link to the download was broken, there was such detail in the guide about what you were downloading and installing that I was able to search for it. +rep for Red and a huge thanks to the author of the guide. Also a big thanks to CK for always having the answer!
