wii shop won't ask for an update if you have already used the safe v20 shop update. As far as I know that is latest version.

go get it from the downloads section and install it unless it is too late and you now own a 4.3 wii

on your thread for the v20 shop channel update, you call the thread 4.3. i have 4.1e softmodded. The shop channel on my wii asks for the firmware to be updated through nintendo - which i'm not going to do. What is the best way for me to go now as i've read that opera browser can be used, which i would like, but i'm unsure which direction to take


edit........ i've just updated homebrew channel and noticed on there, a safe update to 4.2. Is it safe, and should i use it

you can still use the shop channel updater Digital Kaos - Downloads - 4.3 shop channel updater v20 it just updates the channel to what it would be if you were on 4.3
