    dl dvd

    hi to all . I have a softmoded wii 4.1E and i upgrade it succefuly to 4.2 with the info you have in this site .
    still i can't play star wars 3 , obviously it can't read dl dvd .
    i read something about an ios that i need ? is that or i need something more

      what media and burning software are you using?

          i use LG writer and Nero . I have burn a lot of games so far and i didn't have problems with dvd-r .
          now i try with neogamma 8 and i get a message "the disk could not be read, refer to the wii operetion manual for details"

              use a single layer quality dvd-r like verbatim and burn your iso with imgburn slow.
              also try a cd lens cleaner to clean your optical lens.

                  I clean the optical lens with a cd lens cleaner and i burn with imgburn a DVD-R DL verbatim at very slow speed 2x, got the same message.
                  How to burn it in single layer the game is 8.5GB

                      sorry didn't realise that it was a dl game
                      try Setting the layer break at 2084960 when burning.
                      and you need cios17 or higher to play dlgames

                              when you start neogamma it should tell you at the bottom of the screen
