uloader prob

hello i have down graded my wii to 4.2e from the 4.3 ran the modmii for it and i think everything went ok but when i try to play a backup from the u loader it says error cannot oppen ; sd/apps/uloader/boot.dol does anyone know were i went wrong thanks

The problem lies where you say it cannot open..You need to have uloader boot.dol installed in the uloader folder in the apps folder on the sd card....sd/apps/uloader/boot.dol if you have that file structure then uninstall uloader and start again ensuring that the path to uloader is the same as above

put the sd card into your computer and delete the uloader folder but not the apps folder then copy Digital Kaos - Downloads - uloader 5.1e into the apps folder but remember you need to open the rar file then navigate to the apps folder and copy the cios installer and the uloader folder into the apps folder on the sd then put the sd back into the wii open HBC and run the cios installer then uloader should work

it says error loading app i am just thinking is this because this is the black wii

black wii should make no difference what is the folder structure on the sd card and did you use the cios installer before you tried load uloader.................have you tried to load uloader direct from HBC instead of from the forwarder channel try that before you try anything else

Hi - I've followed these instructions but keep getting an error message when trying to load the cIOS installer. It initially comes up 'Select IOS with Trucha Bug to use during installation' and is defaulted to IOS 249.

When I press A to continue is comes up with a message saying 'Reloading IOS 249' but basically it just freezes and goes no further. Any ideas??? I've been farting around for a few hours trying various stuff (i.e. different IOS options) but no joy so far and I'm ready to admit defeat!!

Yes thats the same as me with WAD Manager and cIOSX rev21 Installer thats why I use MMM. I don't get any error message just select the IOS number press A before you choose where to install it from SD card or web it locks up.
