neo gamma will run of ios 249 and load almost everything but for flexibility all the hdd loaders allow you to load from disk. It is all about personal preference they all have their pro's and cons but remember you may get some lag and will there is a trick to get ghostbusters to load from dvdr the reason for this is that the wii can only read dvd-r at 3x speed but original wii disks run at 6x and in the ghostbusters sitiuation it cannot get past the loading screen as it's not fast enough the best option is load from hard drive. Granted you will have to buy a usb hard drive about ?50 for 1tb but that will hold approx 400 to 500 games now I don't know how much you are paying for verbatim dvd-r as these are the most succseful for wii backups but I am assuming it will be a lot more than ?50 for 400 and they take up a lot more space
