USB Hard Drive Help!!

Hi, i modded my 4.2E yesterday with ModWii (verion 4.5.4). All went well.
Have installed 4 or 5 different USB loaders.

But i cant get any of them to recognise my USB drive. I have tried 2 different drives, but are on the "working list" for Wii (hitachi 1TB and a freecom 400GB).

I have tried formatting to FAT32, and to WFBS, but they just wont show up. I am using the correct USB port, looking from front, the one on the left.

Tried for hours yesterday and again this morning without getting anywhere, please HELP, driving me nuts.

what did you use to format the drives and install the backups?

The drives must have games on them before the wii will recognise them

You can try formatting your HDD to NTFS or EXT. Here's a link that might work. Usb Loader - GAF's Wii Homebrew Tutorial
