hi everyone ive just went out and bought myself a wii. Im used to xbox and can softmod them all day so i have to start out again with the wii. I have firmware 4.3e and have done my research but there`s so many conflicting tutorials. Some say you need indy game some say you can downgrade to 4.2? So you dont need the disc im confused can someone give me a straight answer please. As if i dont have to buy the indy game it will help me alot cheers steve

According to modmii the only option is to use one of the three games listed (scroll down to where it has details on how to mod a 4.3U wii

Once you have a game then download modmii, run on your PC and follow the guide. Read through it first and then it will take less then 30 minutes to softmod your wii. -
