Trouble with USB Loader

I'm having trouble getting my USB Loader to work. I'm using ULoader. For some reason it won't work. I got all the IOSs I needed too. What should I do?

What do you mean by it doesn't work.....does not recognise hard drive or it just isn't on the wii

It freezes when I try to load my ULoader and I have to restart the Wii. I'm afraid I'm going to end up bricking it.

Do you mean it freezes when you load it from the forwarder channel on your wii. If so try loading it direct from HBC and see if that makes a difference. If it doesn't then install another version. I see you have not downloaded anything from DK yet so it may be the file that is corrupt use this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...taller-143444/ after you have removed all the traces of whatever version you are using. The cios installer must be installed first.

I already tried that. The CIOS installer isn't appearing on my HBC. Only 222 installer. Nothing else.

That is the file..... If you read it properly it says cIOS 222 installer install that then load uloader and remember uloader will only read drives formatted to wbfs and it must have a game on it or it won't show up on the loader

This is odd. It froze on me. The 222 installer said Reloading IOS249 and then the controller shut off.

What version is your wii, what softmod did you do, is your softmod recent have you ever been able to play backups. It might be easier to redo your softmod following one of the tuts on dk as sound as though something has got messed up somewhere along the line.

My version of Wii is a 4.2. I'm just not sure which programs to get.

4.2 is the easiest to mod just follow the tut in the stickies

What system is your Wii?

I use USB Loader GX, Wiiflow and Configurable USB Loader and they all install without a problem after I cracked the cIOS249.

I was using USB Loader GX earlier and a message came up update to the newer version so I did, USB Loader GX version: 2.2r1100. I've Googled for this version but nothing comes back yet.
