if its a new wii then disc loading wont work due to the new chips on the disc drives. older wii that have been updated will play backups but for me its got to be usb no discs hanging around getting lost or scratched and the usb has faster accessing times for smoother play back

Which disc are you talking about?

You can't use USB loader until its been softmoded. You have to softmod with one of the game discs first before before you can install the USB loader?

Is it softmoded or has it been chipped or are you asking which is the best method?
