    MyMenuIFY "Error installing theme"

I am trying to install DarkWiiv34.2e.csm that I found on this site, everytime I click it then click load it gives me "ERROR unable to install theme" I read online that I need a compatible mym for my console, I am a noob at this still so what is a mym and how do I use it?

EDIT: Okay I found a "Dark Wii White V4.xx" I used NUS Downloader to download the system menu 4.2 wad, made sure to click extract decrypted contents. I used MYMENU.exe and selected the .mym file and the .app file associated to my region/version and then clicked create csm, I FTP'd it to the SD card root started MyMenuIFY and selected it and still got the same error, is my Wii incompatible?

ok make sure you have bootmii installed as boot2 or have priiloader with a nand backup and keys.
try reading here Wii Theme Team Creations - GBAtemp.net or use modmii to download one ready made http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...indows-170234/

I installed Bootmii using the bannerbomb method, same way I installed HBC + DVDx then I went to settings and saved NAND.bin to SD and backed it up. That should be fine right? Also I have already read the Wii Theme Team thing, the wadder.net site is down so none of their tutorials or files are available. I guess I cant install themes?

I am on System Menu 4.2e and no not yet, does that allow installing themes to the Wii or creating them?

EDIT: Thanks for the help, looked into ModMii and it allowed to create a preset wad that successfully changed my theme, although I would really like to find the Black Pirate theme I doubt I will but I shall continue to look, thanks again for the help!

I've never seen a bricked Wii but if its unusable how are you going to restore the NAND?

You would be better of installing Priiloader 0.7 of the SD card if you haven't done already. I would think its easier to restore the NAND just in case you brick it? When you switch the Wii on and nothing works because you've bricked it you just press the Reset button and you're into the Priiloader menu to restore the NAND from BootMii.

I have Bootmii installed to the SD on boot2, afaik that will enable me to recover my nand because it starts up before the Wii System Menu right?

if you have bootmii as boot2 then when you boot the wii with the sd card inserted with your bootmii folder on the sd card it should load bootmii before the main menu.
but it is still worth having Digital Kaos - Downloads - priiloader v0.7 to block online and disc updates.

I don't know if its better having Bootmii installed on boot2 as my 4.3E is on IOS. I'm sure you've tried it to see if it works?

As CK says it doesn't hurt to have Priiloader 0.7 in there as you can do extra tweaks like remove the 'A' prompt on the safety screen on startup?

Yes there are a few tweaks as you'll read in the options? That one is Auto Press A at Heath Screen enable it.

You need to Block Disc Updates and Block Online Updates by enabling them both? The terminology is a bit strange because it says disabled you would thing they aren't active but you have to enable them to make them active.

Oh it doesn't say on the screen but pressing the B button moves back to the menu after you have saved settings.

                      Do a search on YouTube?
