bootmii goes blank

hi folks. just wondering if someone can help me. i softmodded my 4.3e with Letterbomb and everything went fine.only yesterday i went into HBC then bootmii but bootmii didnt load and the screen went blank with the wii blue lights just flashing.the only thing i can think of was i put some files into sd card trying to get a usb loader. can i re install everything through letterbomb? thanks in advance

sounds like you dont have the bootmii folder on your sd card.
did you delete it or rename it?
if you dont have it on your sd card or pc then reinstall bootmii with letter bomb exploit and hackmii installer and select prepare sd card and it should rewrite bootmii to your sd card or just grab bootmii folder from the download section

keep the card in all the time,if you have fully modded your wii there is no need to do it again all you need is the bootmii folder on your sd card.
why do you want to access bootmii?
if your not fully modded then load letterbomb exploit install bootmii again and make sure you click prepare sd card then you should be ok to continue.

Thanks for the advice! Have now got it working and can play games off my usb hdd :-) finally do I clear the sd card and put bootmii in there and leave it in the wii? Thanks again for the advice!!!

no keep all the files on the sd card.
if everytime you switch the wii on it boots to bootmii then just rename the bootmii folder to bootnew or anything else.
if it does not boot to bootmii then you dont need to do anything but enjoy your games.

As CK says you probably don't have the bootmii folder on your SD card I had the same problem when I softmodded.

So the new Letterbomb softmods ok then?

No bootmii doesn't have to be on the SD at all times you only need it if your saving/restoring the NAND. I would suggest to install PriiLoader 0.7 then you can access BootMii from there plus you can do other useful tweaks with it.

Love letterbomb. Had the Twilight Hack on an old wii, and love seeing its so much easier now.
