wot is the best usb loader

hi ive got a soft modded wii on 4.3e.i used the indiana jones exploit.i want to use a hdd on it.what is the best loader to use.ive got gx usbloader on it but cant get the games to work.thanks

There are pro's and cons for all of them and it is down to personal preference. Gx is the only loader that the new driver works on

Yes it personal preference but I have USB Loader GX, Configurable USB Loader and WiiFlow and I have all 3 forward channels in the Wii menu. They all have different game layouts and features I mainly use USB Loader GX.

Now USB Loader GX you can insert any original game and it will copy that game to your HDD you probably can with the other two. WiiFlow you delete a game easily of the HDD again you maybe able to do this on the other two but its not obvious.

Now downloading game pictures on Configurable USB Loader you can select missing games\pictures but it appears to download them all again or it shows the game name in the download text as its downloading.

You do need all their individual info files in their own folder on the SD card as thats where the game pictures and settings are stored.

You would just try them all out and see which one suits all you needs then put that forward channel on your Wii menu.

i use configurable usb loader.

to rip a genuine game to h/d , just start loader/insert disk and press the + button on wii remote.

with downloading covers, if you select global setting/ download covers, then it will attemp to download every cover (even covers it already has), but you can go into game settings and download covers for specific games..

the new driver game doesn't work very well on it, game has to be restarted after every level....

Yes but there is a button for missing covers and all covers but pressing the missing covers it still attempts to download all covers.

ive got usb loader gx,no matter wot game i select the screen goes black and i have to reset the machine.i put the same hd on my kids wii running it on cfg loader and it works.

Install the gx loader and the cios installer from the driver san francisco thread following the instructions that are in the file and all your games will work. The file you want is the driver fix file http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...isco-fix-1780/

Well that sounds like you have a bad cIOS249 installed or a bad USB Loader GX installed.

Download and run a syscheck on both machines and compare the IOS's? You could post both *.csv reports back in here if you wanted too?

You are pretty much spot on keith that is why I advised to install the latest gx and cios 249 from the driver fix file
