My versions of all loaders that use NTSC formatted drives save the games as xyz.wbfs not xyz.iso. (I don't have another ext hdd to try anything in WBFS format, although I'm not too far along to wipe out everything and start again. It's only a 300g hdd.) Got the binload files, opened with 7zip and tried with the list of things below.

Here's what I've tried so far with 11 different titles with the results:
    1. Change the extension from .iso to .wbfs manually, put in games folder on wii ext hdd, open game in usbloader gx - (Boot dump ... Ignorant & FAIL)
    2. Try to use Wii Game Manager v1.5.02 to convert extension for me with this error message - (also FAIL)
    3. Use Wii Backup Manager v0.3.5Beta1 to convert .iso to .wbfs - (Success, but only see title and title sound track, and on some games I get a loading screen but mostly black screened)
    4. Use InfraRecorder to burn .iso image to disc. I see the game with loaders as well as on the wii menu. I go to install with mixed results. - (Sometime they stall around 75%-90% permanently or they complete install only to have the disc or game install blackscreen me in the end.)
    5. Pull out hair and whine like a spoiled school girl - (Also FAIL)
    6. Scratching head and googling a lot.................

You can't just change a file extension to suit your needs as every file has a different format/layout as your error message shows.

Now if all your downloads are wbfs format which is unusual then you are going to have to convert each file with Wii Game Manager v1.5.02 to an iso before you can load it on a drive with WBFS Manager.

Odd ... Quoting myself here ...

I think I may have figured it out. Testing now. My ext pc hdd I have been using was formatted to FAT32, hense the reason my 4+ gb files weren't saving properly. I have converted it to NTSC format now and I'm re-downloading binload file now to try once more.

Guessing everything should work properly now ...

Backup manager splits the files automatically for you if you are formatted to fat 32. I think the problem you are having is cios related....If your older games work but your new ones don't.....What softmod did you use and are you using the d2x cios pack..if you are that is why the driver fix did not work for you

Modded with this: Guide: Softmod ANY Wii

Did the d2x cios pack (oddly some games still only work in usbloader gx and not in wiiflow.

Turns out that this entire thread could have been avoided if I would have just converted my pc drive from FAT32 to NTSC. I have binload opening the .rar for me recreating the .ios file automatically. Being that the drive it was trying to save it on was FAT32 it was coming back with errors. Not as a NTSC drive, everything including Wii Backup Manager (etc) are functioning properly.

All I can say is, "at least I'm learning something and starting to understand what the hell I'm doing".

Thanks Everyone for being patient with me.

Now I see where you had us all confused we were giving you info for the wii softmod from this site and you were using one from another site that uses completly different cios wads...The two different sets of cios wads do not work together...I will try to remember that you are using the d2x cios for your main cios settings and don't know if this is of any use but here are the version 7 d2x cios Digital Kaos - Downloads - d2xv7 wad pack now I haven't used these myself but they come from the same source the v6 wads you have used on your softmod. You may not want to use them just yet until you have read a bit more about them as I picked these up before the changelog was released so I don't what has been improved but as much info on them as I have is that there is no major changes from v6 to v7 just some bug fixes. and the fact that some games only work in gx is because the d2x cios wads seem to be built around gx as the preffered loader. It may not be a bad thing that the guys developing these cios are concentrating on making them work particularly well with one loader but it does limit our choices as with gx you must have an hdd plugged in to start it up meaning people loading from disc can't use it so they are gonna be a bit screwed if htey have done a softmod with the d2x wads

You mean NTFS as NTSC is a DVD format?

Sorry that wasn't a criticism there are NTSC games which are mainly for the US market but they still play without fault on my PAL system of the HDD without any setup adjustments, I have 12 of them on my HDD.

I'm pretty sure the default setting on priiloader is to region free everything so that you will be able to play both pal and ntsc on any console....If it isn't set as default just go into priiloader settings and set it as region free,, that last part was for anybody that didn't know it could be manually set.

Actually, that's pretty cool. It was going to be one of my next questions as I'm starting to run out of games to install in NTSC-U.

Well the only things I changed with PriiLoader was block Nintendo updates, Block Disc updates and remove the 'A' prompt at the safety screen.

Both PAL and NTFS games play straight off without any adjustments on all 3 USB Loaders.
