Hello I would like to help my son he wants to softmode his Wii 4.1 E I dont have a Wii and never played with one ,but I want to help him if I can ,could you guys give me some help the easyiest way to softmode his Wii for him, would it be possible for me to do it for him, hope you can help cheers guys take care

ok, the first link you click the blue writing and download modmii its a windows based program and can mod any wii and is your best option.
download - install on pc - run program answer a few questions and it will download all your files and write you a tutorial.

thanks I did what you said and got a load of files all in blue is that what you mean ,sorry for not understanding but which ones do I need to follow and put on the USB stick thanks again take care.

Obviously trying to help and not quite being as superior as you has upset you for some reason? The site as you put it may be awful but the Wii mod is brilliant! Websites are about taste! I had no intention of spamming anyone and didnt realise that it would be bad to put it in 4 times, just replying to the strings!

Realise it was nothing personal mate and obviously broke the rules for which I appologise.

Only posted because I had spent 3 days going round and round the interweb and stuff trying to find a nice and easy guide to modding my son in laws 4.3e Wii.

There was lots and lots of advice, including yours which is very good providing you kinda know what you are doing!

When i found this PDF which I must say is very good, it goes from start to finish step by step, just thouhgt that others of the same skills level may benefit!

Thats ok Mike I can post loads of sites that do softmodding but they don't like you promoting other sites on here. I actually found one that I used it shows you a video of each part before I found there was a Nintendo Wii section on here.
