Wrong section but, I got a tv parts question.

I posted this in another section of DK, but I don't get the responses to anything I post except in here. So here we go.

I've got a 60" Mitsubishi DLP WD-60735, had it for about 3 1/2 years now and the lamp is finally starting to show signs of dying. I need a new one soon, going back to the 36" tube tv is already annoying me. I've checked places like Pricewatch, mitsubishi, local shops, amazon and google and I'm coming up with one for about $100.00 with & without shipping costs.

Does anyone know of a better site to look into for replacement parts if not just mitsubishi replacement lamps?

Any suggestions are welcome ... well most any.

Dont forget that lots of people on this forum are from the Uk so it will be harder for people to give you info with you being from the States regarding buying stuff.
Google is probably your best option.

Yeah, I figured that much, but it doesn't hurt to see if there's another site like that Pricewatch one that anyone else knows about.

I really should have sprung for the LCD or something else in the first place. I knew better than to buy yet another DLP, but the picture in my opinion (when having a brand new lamp) is incredible, comparably speaking. I've had PC projectors that were really the $hit and 96" + screen results (years ago), lamps cost ~$250.00 for those though. When I saw the Mitz 60" for $1000.00 3 years back and lamps for $150.00, I said what the hell ... and hear we are. Near holiday(s) with not much cash for gifts and a dead DLP of my own. To make matters worse, I can't find my original wii tv cable. I only have the HD one, so now the wii is in black & white until I do something about something.

              I'll stop whining now.
