    Compressing drive

Does anyone think it's a bad idea to try and compress my external wii drive to "save disk space", basically making more room for more games? Will it end up screwing up the existing games like when I defragged? I'm a little nervous to even think about to long.

DO NOT attempt to compress a hard drive whether its a Wii drive or Windows drive it slows them down because it has to uncompress the files temporarily before it can use them.

Just buy a bigger drive they are cheap enough.
