Wii Update Question

Hi, I softmodded my wii ages ago with Zelda hack and didn't bother updating until now because everything was working fine but now it won't play some new games. It is on version 3.2E and I have Homebrew and backup channels already installed. What would be the best way of updating it? After reading some threads I have tried it with Modmii but I am getting an error message 'There is no usable or vulnerable IOS installed on this wii'. Please help.

Maybe upgrade to 4.3e and re soft mod it . Or play the game through your usb loader if you can. im sure somebody more experience can tel you tho
