I hope you know what you are doing installing darkcorp. We all know it works with 1.1 and there is a very good reason why those of us that can load from disc have not installed it, or uninstalled it in my case.....You better have bootmii as boot 2

Darkcorp changes almost every system ios on your wii. Now you have it installed there is a very specific process to remove it to avoid bricking. As long as you are aware that it's there and you always make sure that any update you do is darkcorp friendly then you will be ok. If you are just going to update cios above 200 then you will be ok but if you ever have to update any ios that only has two digits then be very careful as darkcorp has changed almost all of them. As I have said many times darkcorp is very good at what it does but you must be very aware it is there or you will end up in trouble. If you have bootmii as boot 2 you don't have to worry too much as long as you have a working nand backup as you are 99.9% brick proof

Yes I'll pm the link to you, just remember once you do this all your ios will be old versions. Just run a syscheck after you have confirmed removal and load I it into modmii and this will bring everything back up to date.

Getting back to the orginal topic I've read that Ubisoft who make The Adventures of Tintin know that people are copying these games to HDD drives so they are putting code in their app that checks where the game it running from. If its a HDD then it will freeze now and then.

Think you have read correct. Metafortress is the name of the protection, and rumor has it rayman origins (also made by ubisoft) will be carrying the same protection. So it seems some ~~~~er at ubisoft is making his money. What gets me though is It doesn't load from disc through anything except darkcorp. I do have a question I need to get answered though, and that is how to get darkcorp into a channel on my emu nand on mighty channels. Once I have this figured out I will be all sorted.

From what you have said Darkcorp isn't worth bothering with as its an hassel to install and even worse to uninstall.

Driver: San Francisco is also made by Ubisoft.

It doesn't work properly yet on gx. I've been using a partial (emu)lated nand on uloader for a long time now so that all my game saves are stored and loaded from my hdd instead of the wii. What mighty channels does it takes your nand backup and transfers it to your hdd specifically used for loading wiiware and vc games as they come as wad files so continually installing and uninstalling new channels (games) to your true nand will wear it out. It also means if you load a bad homebrew wad you cannot brick your wii as you are really only installing it to your hdd but you can play it as though it is on the wii. That is just scratching the surface of what can be done with an emuy nand but I'm sure you get the jist of it.
