Did you check to make sure the T.V. was on?

No seriously, this happened to me a few months ago while ~~~~in' around with stuff I had no right messing with, with my knowledge. I got lucky. All I ended up doing was a hard reset (a couple times actually). Hold the power button down until the light on the wii turns red. Wait a second and try to power up. If the light goes from red to green then yellow, touch (don't hold) the power button again. The wii should power up, and hopefully not be a black screen.

I did this a few times in a panic, and it worked for me. Hope that helps.

Okay, now try the disc again ... still nothing? Damn! Okay okay, wait. I've got it now ... try rubbing the disc on the carpet to give it a little static charge. That should do the trick.

Well if you can't find the answer on here you can always (other search engines are available) because we aren't allowed to promote other good Wii sites on here and you will find that site.

              Unbricking a Wii

The thing is Wii's are hard to brick if you follow good Wii sites like here.

              Oh avoid YouTube.

As I said you won't brick your Wii if you follow a good guide, you live and learn.

I'm finding all kinds of information on putting your boot files (bootmii) on disc along with homebrew and/or others and doing a hard power off/on to get unbricked. Hold down power button until the light on it turns RED then back power on. Sometimes it will only power up to YELLOW, in which case you need to tap the power button again to go GREEN. I just wouldn't know what files to try and put on a fresh and clean new disc to even begin to help you. Maybe someone else on here could help out with that "possible" solution.

                        ouch!

i did my wii to (full brick) i somehow knocked priiloader off! it was thank ~~~~ on systerm menu 4.2! i used the savemii methord with a dismantled old style nintendo pad in port 4! pressing up down left right at the same time brings up the sys menu number in the corner then all you need is a legit disc with a newer sys menu put it in an it boots up! your prob me old china is there is no newer sys menu than 4.3! i dont know if they are gonna do a 4.4 but if they do you can use this methord! morale of the story is we really should not play with the systerm menu!

i don,t think there is a way to fix this . there even no nand back up file let alone preloader.

Never install themes because of this.

would of been better going off this guide

thats a bad youtube video you follow
