how to delete a game on usbloader gx

i have installed a game on usbloader gx in trying to get the game working but to no avail but instead it has put another game icon on screen the one with no image have tried to delete but comes up with error message ret-01 or something.

yet when go to cfg loader it doesnt show also hen go on back up mager doesnt show either so who knows

am i missing something here

Did you install the game with gx, or did you put it on the hd manually with the pc?

I've also had a few different problems with wiiflow and gx not wanting to delete games.

i installed it with gx but nothing shows and on loading game it just freezes so have to hard reboot and cfg doesnt show anything but gx does when loaded.

Here is a game compatibility list, and a usb hard-drive compatibility list. Is it one of the games on the game list with known problems? Have you tried other games?

Ive always used neogamma, is gx a better option??

I personally like WiiFlow, I personally find that it's sort of dumby'd down a bit and just really nice to look at. USBloader gx plays just about everything I have, but takes a little more knowledge to use the settings. That's only my opinion though. I think most others on here like USBloader gx more.

I've just found a site while trawling my way through masses of posts that has loads of themes for gx. They can all be stored on sd or hdd so they don't mess with the wii and there are some very good ones and some very naughty ones for adults only

I've seen quite a few myself. It's not the themes I don't like as much as the lack of style. I just really like the visual fluff WiiFlow has. Mega easy to make your own themes and game menu mods too.

USBloader gx is just too blocky and robotic for my taste.

Well I've just had a look how to delete/uninstall a game with USB Loader GX. Now mine is using a WBFS formatted drive with USB Loader GX 2.3.

USB Loader GX
Select the game, on the screen showing the disc picture click on Settings. Scroll right and click on Uninstall Menu then you have a list.

Uninstall Game
Reset Playcounter
Delete Cover Artwork
Delete Disc Artwork
Delete Cheat TXT
Delete Cheat GCT

Just click on the Uninstall Game. You will be asked if you want to Uninstall that game title, Game Only or Uninstall all. The artwork maybe useful if you reload it again.

After its deleted you will get the message Successfuly deleted: game name.

CFG USB Loader GX
Select the game, click on the Manage button, click on Delete Game button. The screen will show Press A to delete or Press B to go back.

Removing game, please wait.... OK
Press any button to continue.

WiiFlow
Select the game, click of the orange X.

To permanently remove the game: game name, click on Go.

All three of the above procedures work as I've just deleted three games I don't use that much.

thanks for that i tried all that but said cant delete game so thought it must have gone on wrong anyway have reinstalled game on cfg and some strange reason its disappeared so has solved the problem.

Which game were you trying to get working?

It shouldn't put the blank ? image for the game if you haven't added a new game?

Thats seems strange what are you using a FAT32, NTFS or WBFS drive?

How did you reinstalled the game just add it to the drive or install it from DVD?

installed it with cfg loader and turned back on and was gone on gx oh well sorted it now

hdd is fat32

You still haven't said which game you were trying to use thats why you tried to delete it?

Well when you delete it on USB Loader GX and you go back to the main screen it shouldn't show the old image so whats this blank image it was showing?
