I know both PAL and NTSC work on loaders but cod mw3 doesn't work using 249. Cheers happy_highlander for the 250 tip.

I apologize, I meant to say 250. I've completely given up on WiiFlow for now, myself. It seems that day by day, I find some other game that just doesn't want to cooperate with it.

And with that Hermes 222-236 or whatever ... how am I supposed to be able to adjust to 249 or 250 with it anyway?? (Side note, different thread needed for that.)

Same here just got it today and all working fine on ios 249 NTSC.
Using Usb Loader GX
Not sure its as good as Black Ops.

I'd say online is better. Well better options anyway the free for all is excellent for the likes of me or younger players (I know it's 18 rated but it is still very like a game on wii and nothing like as realistic as xbox or ps3) so on that note I don't mind my lads playing it on wii. Where we don't upset the other team players cause we're sh1te and it gives a chance to learn the game against real people.

Well when I played my PAL version on 249 it just showed the Loading.... screen and stopped. I changed it to 250 (thanks to HH) and it works.

This is Ntsc version on modded Wii with Usb Gx Loader.

Only played a few rounds online actually won all 3 even though i got my ass whipped but doesnt look or sound much difference yet to Black Ops.

Well I have NTSC and PAL games and they all play without any modding first, cod mw3 is the only one I've had to change from the default IOS249 to IOS250.

Don't understand why you are bickering about whether it loads on 249 or 250, those numbers are irrelevant, it is the base that you installed them to that makes the game work. For example if andy has installed249 (57) and kieth has installed 250(57) that is why they load on different numbers

I can't see how the IOS number is irrelevant each IOS is a slot that stores info so if its 249 (want ever number) it going to use the 249 slot, as a syscheck shows? I don't see how those will be stores in 57?

You're not supposed to change any IOS below 200 else you could brick it.

That is exactly the point keith, the (c)ustom Ios is just a carrier for the (base) system ios that is required to run the game. It is to dangerous to completely modify a system ios (below 200) so a custom ios is produced. This is what darkcorp does not do. It modifies the original system ios making it very dangerous. However the backup games still require a system ios to run (your base number) i.e 249 (57) will run exactly the same games as 250(57) as they are both using the system ios 57 to load the games. If you do a sys check you will find that all your custom ios have a different base number. In this case on the old softmod the cios update that was used to run black ops was 249(57) but on the new d2x setup 249 has a base of (56) and cios 250 has a base of (57) and if you look at hermes 223 used for mic games it has a base of 38 or something like that. Hope this makes it a bit clearer as to why this game is running on different cios. It is all to do with the softmod setup, both are correct but there seems to be no further support for the older way and the only cios that seem to be being developed and updated are the d2x ones
