I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help out with this. In the meantime, the forwarder/channel(s) that you've tried are probably fine if you knew what the exact file name and/or file location they were forwarding to is. Do you have the file in a normal spot? sd/apps/<program>/<file> ? Or is that all correct and it might not have matching boot.dol(s)?

Just trying to get a couple of answers for who ever is going to be helpin' out.

I downloaded all my emulators from homebrew browser so it's put em all in the apps! all the other emulators have boot.dol files in them and the wiisx had one to! i have deleted the ones i had so i'll get another! when you say matching boot.dol files i'm not sure what you mean for 2 reasons first is i thort they were all the same (i've never seen a difference) and second when i install the wad for the forwarder i dont think there is anything on the sd that would have a boot.dol to match with! (sd is a bit over crowded thats what makes me unsure) but i'm pretty sure there is nothing relating to any of my forwarder channels! i'll install another an get back thanks!

Well as I understand it a Forwarder is like a short-cut in Windows it knows where to look to run an app whether thats in the apps folder on the SD card or on a USB drive. The Boot.dol is the exe that runs the app.

WiiSX is something I've never needed to bother with but if you Google this WiiSX Forwarder there are a few places that have removed their download link because they don't work properly.

Ah i see! that would explan coz i must have tried 5 or 6! i've just downloaded another 3 an the wads wont install, but i recently bricked my wii coz i some how lost priiloader so i took a bit of reserch 2 bring back from the dead! i'm guessing it has somthing to do with this, to bring it back i used the self made safemii methord, which did a legit update on a black screen from 4.2 to 4.3 mad thing was when it booted up everything worked or so it seemed! any ideas why i can't install these wads? they wont install on 236 or 249! on the mmm i get error(=-2011) and on the yet another wad manager it get error(=-1029) any ideas would be greatly appreciated! i'm on systerm menu 4.3e thanks!

You are spot on with your understanding of a forwarder. The problem is not all forwarders can load from usb and as n8 said your path for an sd forwarder should be sd/apps/wiisx the dol file will be inside the wiisx folder.

You have lost your softmod by using the legit update from 4.2 to 4.3. Going by what you are saying you still have hbc so follow the 4.3 softmod guide that is relevant to no mod as such but still have homebrew channel. The errors you are receiving are because the cios are not fake signed

If you can still do a syscheck, do that and put the syscheck into modmii and that will bring up all the relevant files
