new wii laser

hi all
i have a nintendo wii which works fine but the laser has gone as it wont read discs at all ,it hasnt been modded in any way.
would it be best it fit a new laser or buy a second hand wii
if it is best to fit another laser where can i get one and is there any easy guides to doing it

They aren't worth replacing the DVD drive just softmod it and use an external USB hard drive.
