ios 249/250

i seem to be having a problem trying to softmod my wii
it is currently on 4.2e after downgraded from 4.3e
iam trying to put patched versions of ios's on but once i select 249/ 250 my wii crashes or freezes
how can i fix this or work around so i can get it softmodde to play games thu the disc channel
homebrew channel and bootmii is installed
any help would be great thanks

You clearly don't understand the implications of running backup games through the original disc channel so don't even go down that route. Get hold of neogamma if you want to load from disc
