Sorry m8, Guitar Hero guitar does not work with Rock Band but it does work with Rock Band 2

I didnt know that rock band wasn;t compatable with guitar hero i thought that as it said wii on box it would work using hero guitar.Expensive mistake..doh

Argos Guitar works with Guitar Hero & Rock Band

My 11 yr old thinks that GH is the only game to play (or at least that is what everyone in his class says)

My 13 yr old thinks that Rockband is the only game to play (or at least that is what everyone in his class says)

So we ended up with both games after Christmas.

The kids found a guitar in Argos (59.99euro) which works with both games.
Out of the box it worked straight away with Rockband.
With a bit of tweaking it now works with Guitar Hero

Tweaking involved
1) (reading the manual) and disconnect RB wireless transmitter when using GH
2) using decent batteries (my rechargeables worked when playing RB - but need to be fully fully charged when playing GH)
