No usb loader works for me. Help!!!

I have tried what I think is all the usb loaders I can find.
wiiflow 2.2, Neogamma R9 53, USBloader gx v2.3, USBloader cfg 70,. All do the same thing. CRASH! The Hard Drive is formatted to WBFS and does show up on the wii.
My wii is running 4.3e. Homebrew is installed and working well.

It is just no backup which you can view on the wii, will play and no DVD-r will play either.

Is their anything that can be done to finally actually play files from the Hard Drive?

    Thankyou in advance.

    Welcome to the forum.

Well it depends which tutorial you used to setup the USB Loaders?

Do none of them run/show their main screen?

All mine USB Loader GX, CFG USB Loader, WiiFlow work ok with my WBFS drive. Is your drive compatible? USB Compatibility List

    Digital Kaos - Downloads - sysCheck v2.1.0 Beta 11

Put sysCheck on your SD card and run it from HBC and post the report back in here so we can see which IOS's you have registered?

To run any USB Loader you need to register cIOS249 have you done this?

Thats ok thats normal when people see videos on YouTube you don't get all the info plus some take some believing.

To register and IOS\cIOS on the Wii you need a WAD Manager or Multi-Mod Manager (MMM) 13.4 on the SD card and run it from HBC. Now I've never got WAD Managers to work so I've always used MMM. MMM 13.4 is in

        Digital Kaos - Downloads - Usbloader gx 2.3 r1128 and d2x v7 with mmm 13.4

You should need USB Loader GX 2.3 as you say you have that install. Put all the wad files you want to install in the wad folder on the SD card, If you don't have a wad folder make one. Just extract the MMM folder from the zip file in the apps folder on the SD card and run it from HBC.

Select Wad Manager from the menu and scroll down to one of the wad names and press 'A' to install all wads in that folder. If you only want to install a specific wad scroll down to that wad and press + so it put a green tick by it then press 'A'. You will see a screen saying you want to install cIOS249*****.wad press 'A' to continue or 'B' to go back. When it installs each wad selected you will see a message Installed OK or something like that if you don't see that message go back and install them again until they are all OK.

After that as I said before put sysCheck in the apps folder on the SD card and run that then post the sysCheck.csv file results on the root of the SD card as instructed in that download section. That will show a list of all the IOS's in the Wii so we can see what is missing.

Its much easier to copy and paste the code as suggested rather than posting 5 pictures?

It says IOS249 is a stub but the others IOS245 to IOS248 are the dx2 that you've installed. Have another go at cIOS249 dx2 until it says its OK?

Its wasy to find most things with Google, other search engines are available.

USB Loader GX won't even load without cIOS249 it will show you a message saying cIOS222, cIOS249 or cIOS250 are needed, the same goes for the other 2 loaders.

Ive tried to remove Stub of ios 249 but it keeps failing

I'm sorry I never realised there was an option. I just thought of a quick way to bypass what I though would be tons of writing. I will keep trying

Its one of those things if you read any writeup on MMM 13.4 if they don't install keep on trying. I had a similar thing when I softmodded a friends 4.3 some IOS's wouldn't installed. I gave it her back and said bring it back the next time you come up for a visit. She brought it back the next time and they all installed perfectly.

You could try a power off and on then try it again?

Be very careful if you uninstall an IOS below 200 you could brick your Wii?

No you may as well leave it and any other ones you install will overwrite that one. Now when I softmodded my 3 Wii's I installed cIOS249[17].wad or something like that and all my 3 Wii's USB Loaders worked. I only updated to the cIOS249 dx2 because they are newer and mine still work.

I'm not at home at the moment and I can't remember where I had that wad from I will check the filename again and Google it. I will catch you later.

You can Google for cios249 rev17 there are loads of results for that wad, it sounds the same as mine?
