just put a new dvd in my wii but it does not read them it just gives the error mesage

Wii's don't play dvd's, Just games. Sorry.Sometimes a slow gradual approach does more good than a large gesture. -
Softmod you Wii and it will play DVD`s (or are you saying that it wont play a Wii game?).Comment

You'll need to softmod your Wii (tutorial here) or chip your Wii.
If you've (already) done that make sure you burn the games on Verbatim DVD-R's on 2x or 4x speed using imgburn.Comment

i've never used verbatims on either my 360 or wii i just use cheap discs and never had a problem with any...i do use img burn and only on 2x speed thoughPS3= krazylegz120282
