Help with 4.3e softmod after HBC

Hello all new to the site which I have been searching most of yesterday! and I have now fried my brain on hacking the wii!

I have installed HBC, bootmii boot2 with letterbomb and have done a backup of the 'nand' but I want to install usb loader gx 2.3 which I have on the HBC but when I try to install it I get this,

So I then tried to install cios222 v4 from the HBC but I get to this stage

and the controller doesnt do anything just flashes the 4 lights even if I wait nothing happens.

Any ideas where I can go from here I just want to play backups from a hard drive, well 16gb usb stick!
    Cheers in advance!

You should always use modmii to get the files and tutorial for your softmod, it doesn't kick out stupid messages like come back once you have the correct files. Run modmii on your pc and select full softmod and tutorial, then follow the tut from after hbc installation, modmii will download all the files you need mate

Is the 16GB USB stick just for test purposes as you will only get 3 or 4 games on it?

Now it works are you going to get a large mains powered external USB drive?

Yeah just wanted to see if it works so I am now thinking of using an old pc tower unit which has about 76gb and partition the hard drive for games then plug it into the back of wii but not sure if this will work?? I know 76gb aint much but its a start!
