Softmod 4.3e using letterbomb

I have softmoded and old white wii and and a new black wii. The black one is working perfect with my external USB 60gb hard drive. But the white one with the same hard drive won't play games using USB loader or films using mplayer. The hard drive is formatted so games can go on half and films on other half (fat32). All it keeps saying is dump and loads of numbers. Can anyone help? I have been searching for same problems but can't find anything. Thanks in advance em

did you you mod them both the same and what tut did you follow?

As I said on the black one the hard drive works great I can't under stand it at all. Thanks for your response

did you install all 3 hack packs?
have you plugged usb drive into the correct usb port?

Yeah I did and it went through successfully all three packs and I have put it in the correct port. I used a smaller 8gb USB stick to test a film out and that works fine. I tried a 16gb USB stick with games on and that didn't work on the white one still says dump. All USB memory sticks and hard drive work with the black one. It very annoying

well it would seem you have all the correct files for playing from usb if one of them works.
was they both modded with the same tut?
do,s the wii recognise the hdd can you see any games or files or do,s it give you a stack dump when you start the usbloader?

the trouble with you tube tuts is we dont know exactly what cios's and ios's it installs or what patches it installs or what apps as i think it installed darkcorp which is something i would never use as it patches everthing. i would mod it again using this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...indows-170234/ selecting use fat32 and virgin install which would be my prefered option or run the same tut again or wait for someone else with a idea of whats happend.

There is obviously something different between both Wii's as one works and one doesn't. Use Digital Kaos - Downloads - sysCheck v2.1.0 Beta 11 and check the differences between both Wii's you can post both reports on here so we can see the differences.

This will only work with a 4.3 Wii, if its not 4.3 then update it online in Wii Settings.

Read the LetterBomb page and type in the MAC number of your Wii from the Wii Settings. Download LetterBomb.zip and extract it to a FAT32 formatted 2GB SD card.

Read the txt files in the zip file.
