what channels are really needed?

Hi all, before I start softmodding another wii I am going to read a bit more and ask a few more questions....
My question is quite simple I think.....I am reading the "modmii for windows" tutorial/guide (4.3e) and at some stage I have been asked what channels I would like to have :
photos, internet, weather, news, mii, shopping, wiispeak

My question is install all or not? I am not going to use my wii to watch photos, weather, news so I suppose I don't need them. What about internet? is it a kind of internet browser? If yes I will skip that as well....I don't really know what mii, shopping and wiispeak channels do so my question is, do I need any of the above channels for functioning my wii once is softmodded? Can they be installed in a second stage?

The weather channel is required if you use the likes of tiger woods online as it gives you the current weather for the course you are playing. The mii channel is obviously all the little custom avatars that the kids make up as themselves and has their personal settings stored in them, which they can take to mates house in the wiimote to play on their mates wii as themselves , the disc channel is a must. The shop channel is what it says but is required for black ops and mw3, but that's about it the rest are not required for anything except for what they say they are.

That is correct for black ops, the disc channel is the top left hand channel that you use for original discs (don't delete it) you normally can't get access to remove the disc channel but if you ever come across the situation where you can remove it, don't
