wii balance board, blue light blinking.........

cant get blue light to stay on, when i press the power on button, it blinks for a few seconds then goes out, have synced to consul ect, aint been used for ages, just been sat under sofa, it also aint been soft modded , like new from shop, would be greatfull for any help on how to sort it

Sorry eileen if the batteries are good and you've synced both units then I wouldn't like to guess why it doesn't work.

I rarely use mine its stuck under the TV on a shelf but I end up putting new batteries in to use it again.

did you press the sync button on the wii first before the one on the board,mine wouldnt sync for ages cause i was pressin the board button first.

will give it a go, got the back off it just now to see if there was any leakage inside, but its clean
