remote stops working during letter bomb install

I got the letter bomb to start but the remote dies that is light goes out 10 seconds before the press 1 to continue shows up on the screen. The reset button does not work. the power button will shut off if held down for a bit.

any suggestions helpfull. have tried the bomb with boot.elf and boot.dol. they stop because they are waiting for input. one to press A to continue the other to press one to continue. with boot.dol the reset button works.

have a look at this video, it might show what you are doing wrong. I have used it and didn't have any problems. Stupid question, you are on 4.3 firmware??

Thanks for your help. I did it exactly as in the vid. however. when it says press one to continue that is where it stops as my remote does not work. the light goes out 10 seconds before the choice of press 1 to continue appears on the screen. I guess I will have to try one of the game hacks.

I assume your using a 2GB or less SD card not SDHC?

Format the card again FAT32 and add the files out of Letterbomb.zip again or download Letterbomb.zip again in case they got corrupted.

I hope your batteries are good enough in the remote?

thanks for all the replies. yes this is a new wii. but I put in a second set of batteries just to make sure. yes 2 g card formatted it about 27 times downloaded letterbomb so many times they must think I can not find my downoads. I can read what is on the card if I try to do one of the game mods but it will not save the mod to memory as I do not have the game and have not played it and saved a game yet. must wait till I get the game or the mod chips arrive. thanks for the help
