you would be suprised just how many people are still wasting time and money with dvd backups.

I do, but only for movies the kids want to pass back and forth in their rooms and the car when travelling. Every room in this house has a computer in it so we mostly just network everything.

As far as back ups go, I only "want" to do them for the Xbox360.

Still waiting for the day I can just network the Wii to read games from the main pc hdd instead of transferring them to its own separate hdd.
