    replace parts on a wii...

Hi all, I have a bricked wii and I was thinking of using it as spare parts for another "virgin" wii that can not read discs but load the wii blocks menu fine and go online etc etc... So my question is : what part/parts of the bricked wii can I NOT use because bricked? Is the dvd drive ok and be suitable for the one that doesn't work? Sorry for noob/strange question but before using my bricked wii as a door stopper I would like to savage some parts(if I can)...
    Many thanks

The only part you have bricked is the nand so the dvd drive should be fine to use. Bricking the wii is a software issue not hardware
