    Installed LetterBomb... where next?

I've just installed LetterBomb along with BootMii and would now like to know what i should do to play games from a HDD. I'm guessing there are apps i need for this to work, any suggestions would be appreciated. I have created a NAND backup so far and saved to PC.

    Wii Version 4.3E

use http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...indows-170234/ choose virgin install but you can skip the part for homebrew channel and bootmii install because you have already done it good luck.

This will give you a step by step guide and it will also download all files you need onto sd card so you can play your games from hdd.

Great, does the HDD need to be modified at all? Is there a certain format or files that need to be placed on it first?

Yeah you will need to use wbfs manager and format it to wbfs or you can fat32 format it and use wiibackup manager to run isos but wbfs would be better as it saves space but if you download modmii and run the install it will download everything you need from start to finish.

Almost there but not quite ronnie...when you transfer games to a fat 32 hdd they are converted to .wbfs so they are exactly the same size as they are on wbfs formatted drive......fat 32 can also be used to load and run apps as well as games, it can also be checked for errors and maintained with standard pc programs making it far more compatible across the board.

Select "w" for wizard and get the full softmod with tutorial using letterbomb but just follow the tutorial from after installation of letterbomb as you have already done that bit.

I have now completed the following:

                    Install a patched IOS236
                    Install Priiloader
                    Install WADs

I have been given a guide to setup Hard Drive but am once again stuck, i have been given this guide: USB Loader and Hard Drive setup The rest of the guide is performed on your co - Pastebin.com However i am now stuck as what to do now to play "backed up" wii games.

I was also wondering if it would be possible to use a USB Flash drive to put the games on.

Well the simplest method is WBFS Manager as its simple and always effective though some users on here don't like it.

You will be wasting your money using a Flash drive even if you went for a the large ones you going to be paying a lot more than buying a mains powered HDD.

That guide makes things look much more complicated than they really are. If you have taken my advice from the last post I made to you, you should have a full tutorial on how to set up hdd and install usb loaders. Have you made a nand backup. If not I strongly suggest you make one before you go any further.

I don't dislike wbfs keith I have one but fat 32 drives now have almost no cons as wii backup manager successfully splits dual layer games into 2 usable files and you won't even notice the change, which was always the only snag. You can store films and apps as well as games, no more sd cards to get lost no more dvds to get scratched everything in one place.

I don't need to split any dual layer game they just go straight on the drive.

SD cards aren't a problem they just sit in the Wii. I have a backup of whats on the SD card.

I have a 1TB drive just for the Wii I could split that in half and have films on it but I don't like the Wii as a DVD player when I have a seperate DVD play that I burn films onto and play them from there.

I have my original 120GB drive I used on the Wii I'm thinking of formatting it FAT32 and add some games on to see if its any better.
