i recently did a soft mod to my wii. i have been using an external hd to store games and so far no problems. except when i try to load cod mw3. it goes through the standard wii controller screens and then to a black screen that says loading at the bottom at which it never goes any farther. i have tried downloading a couple different iso's of the game thinking that maybe it was just the copy i was using but the same thing each time. the only thing that i have noticed is that when i open my wbfs manager and view the games on my hd it lists the cod game as a "RF" type instead of ntsb or pal. i am not really familiar with all of the technical formats so i would appreciate any info please. its driving me up the f*cking wall not being able to figure this out. thanks

Rf means region free which mw3 isn't but it runs on a cios with a 57 basei recently did a soft mod to my wii. i have been using an external hd to store games and so far no problems. except when i try to load cod mw3. it goes through the standard wii controller screens and then to a black screen that says loading at the bottom at which it never goes any farther. i have tried downloading a couple different iso's of the game thinking that maybe it was just the copy i was using but the same thing each time. the only thing that i have noticed is that when i open my wbfs manager and view the games on my hd it lists the cod game as a "RF" type instead of ntsb or pal. i am not really familiar with all of the technical formats so i would appreciate any info please. its driving me up the f*cking wall not being able to figure this out. thanks -
The same thing happened with my PAL MW3 and HH told me to use ISO250 to load the game. I don't know which USB Loader your using but on USB Loader GX click on the game so you see the game disc. Click on Settings, click on Game Load then click on Game IOS. Delete -1 and type in 250 then click OK then click Save and back to the disc and play it.
Now in CFG USB Loader click on the game. Click on Options and in the IOS: box scroll along to 250 and click Save then click Start to run the game.
In WiiFlow click on the game then click the gear icon. Scroll along to page 2, The IOS setting should say Default which is 249 as you scroll through the IOS setting it shows 202, 222, 223, 224, 236 but no 250. If you change it to any other number and try and play the game is just shows Disc_SetUSB failed you can't set it back to Default, so I don't bother with WiiFlow.
Oh this has been talked about before in cod mw3Keith
