when you buy an hdd try and remember that usb powered are somewhat unpredictable and mains powered will give you much better compatibility

Yes thought of that.. Im gonna use a hdd drive with powersupply.

but still.I have been trying out memory sticks and microsd on usb.

so far working only on wbs format..

if your using fat32 you need to install the games with Digital Kaos - Downloads - Wii backup manager 0.4.0 build 65
if you cant format a large drive with windows 7 try Digital Kaos - Downloads - Fat 32 Formatter
