What age is the wii. Remember only pre 2009 can definitely read dvdr, some 2009 can read them but only the ones from the early part of the year.

If I remember correctly there are no special setting for zelda just run it in a cios with a 56 base but I may be wrong.

Edit...I wasn't wrong it loads with a 56 base but there are other issues relating to a fault in the game code acknowledged by nintendo who have released some sort of fix from the shopping channel. More reading required by you if you want to play this game properly, by the way you can't have looked everywhere for a fix for it, I found it in under 2 mins.

It may do keith, there is a specific scenario where the game save doesn't work if you collect 2 items before speaking to some guy and you have to start again

Well I haven't played it that long about 20 minutes but it does save the details in the Wii memory.

The OP is saying he can't get it working he may not have installed d2x v.70 final or d2x v8.0 final

He's trying to run it from disc which requires neogamma 9 as well as d2x on a 56 base, like I said to him the relevant info is out there

Yes I realise that but as you've said Wii's after 2009 won't play burnt discs. He really needs so do a sysCheck and paste the Drive date: in here so we know when it was made.

He may as well buy a powered external hard drive and forget burning discs its going to the cheaper in the longer term.

I also thing that users should post there Wii spec in their signature it will save asking everuone, but that my thought on forums. I have a Golf GTD in mine because I came here after info on ETKA 2 years ago but the software section has been removed since, I still use the The Garage.

                    hi guys,
Perphaps i should of been clearer in my first post so will try again.
I have read plenty about zelda and the issues concerning the game, but it wasnt until i came to play it that they came to light.
                    My setup is as follows
                    4.1e
                    d2x v7 installed
                    56 in 249
                    cfg loader 70

so no i dont need to buy a hard drive as i have already got one.
I have got it running on the hard drive but i want to get the disc side of things working as my brother hasnt got a hard drive wants to play it basically got same setup but without the hard drive.
i have read numerous threads about the game saves, the motion plus etc so know what to do.
my problem comes when i play using neogamma r9 v56 using 56 in 249 so i have all the settings right i get past the main screen put my name in then some beast appears then no disc error or something pops up its this problem im trying to solve.
I have got my iso off the hard drive and burnt about 3 times now so am running out off ideas.

With a drive date of Drive date: 2007.02.13 you should be able to play burnt discs. What are you using to burn these discs and are you using quality DVD-R discs?

Mine is Drive date: 2008.07.14 but I've tried play burnt discs but it shows a DVD read error 1167 everytime, the game doesn't even start.

Have you tried playing it with the disc through usb loader gx, you already have cios 249(56) load gx then select mount dvd (top right of the screen)

So mine most of been a bad rip or something so really dont know how to get around problem as know game works if only there was a way of copying my mates disc.

Use wiibackup manager to extract the working game from your hard drive as an iso then burn it using img burn or put your mates disc in the wii and rip to hdd with gx then extract that file as an iso
