playing games from usb after softmod on Wii

I did a softmod on my Wii game so I could play downloaded games on my flash drive I tried using usb loader gx and also Wiiflow it shows the disk trying to load but it never does am I missing a file should I just softmod it all over again I am a neebie at this

need more info post a syscheck using Digital Kaos - Downloads - sysCheck v2.1.0 Beta 11 also what format is the flash drive?

As well as probivding the syscheck can you also keep in mind that flash drives do not have a very high read speed so are very hit and miss especially with gx. This combined with the fact that the wii is not designed to work in this way also reduces compatability. mains powered usb hdd are the most compatible..
