The Last Story Pal black screen after new game on 4.3E Wii

Hello guys,
I am able to run the game from USB loader gx and also another loader (CFG or something like that). I can get into the game, but when I select new game from the game menu the loading screen shows up and then only black screen appears and stays there indefinitely. The Wii is somehow responsive - when I press the home button an icon that shows I cannot access the home is visible. Any help is appreciated. Another game works normally , even an NTSC game works normally.
ps - I have the Wii plugged to an FullHd TV via component cables and I have also tried IOS 249 as well as 250

I only have The Last Story - PAL - SLSP01 but when you run the game the screen says it needs a 60Hz screen go into Wii settings.

I changed the game settings in USB Loader GX to Force PAL60Hz and the game plays ok for me.

You could have a bad donwload try another.

You could post a sysCheck as instructed in that link to make sure you have the correct wads installed.

Yes but the thread title says

so he's using PAL the same as me.

The game won't even start if its not set to 60Hz.
